The secret to living 32 hours from family . . .

The secret to living 32 hours from family is to stay busy!  And that is just what we have done this last month.  This was in attempt to not be homesick or depressed when we came back from Idaho; and we are happy to report success.  Here is some evidence:

Sunbeam graduation consisting of Lightning McQueen and Russel!
Baby shower after baby shower!  But I'm not complaining because it usually consists of some pretty amazing food, decorations and great catch up!
Games, games and more games.  I am now a fan of the bannana sack scrable game.  And of course my favorite: GREED!  Who freakin' rolls this though.  Seriously, 40,000 . . . the game was over pretty fast after that turn!
We took princess swimming for the first time.  It was hilarious and definately the first of many.
I know this sounds cheesy and I hope that "Seriously So Blessed" (I now call her SSB) isn't reading this but:
I love hanging out with my Boo.  I get so excited to waker her up because she greets me with a big smile!  It doesn't matter what I say or do, she greets me FAITHFULLY every morning with a huge smile and hug.  Then, she needs me!  Why is that so rewarding?  I don't know, I love that she turns to me every time she has hurt herself, or is hungry, or tired, or wants to play.  Next, she thinks I'm hilarious!  I put her in a giant pink castle, she thinks I'm hilarious.  I make the ugliest face I can't think of, she things I'm funny.  I can get her to laugh at me almost daily.  And I know she is definitely not perfect, but after loving someone so much and being with them so often, I sure think she is one cute kid!  K, I'm done.  In summary, I have a blast with her everyday and I love my life!
Devin had a birthday!  Big 26!  If you are reading this, he probably hasn't proof read this post, cause he doesn't want his age discussed.  But I'm proud of everything he has accomplished in his life.  We had a combined birthday party with the other birthdays in that week and it was really fun!  Why is is so entertaining to watch children eat cake with their hands?
Brynlee is a big girl in the shopping/grocery carts now!  We were taking back some presents and making sweet eyes to everyone that passed!  She was having the time of her life out of her car seat!
We watched our creepy clock that someone seriously needs to put in a haunted movie or something.  The hand jumps link 15 minutes forward and backwards.
And some birthday breakfasts for some of the 2nd year girls!

It's been a great week.  And here are some videos for the grandparents.  Pretty boring if you are related.  We finally got a laughing video of Brynlee for the first one and the second one is waking her up after a nap.  There are several things you have to know when waking her up.
A - don't take her giraffe away
B - always use soft voices
C - always greet her with a smile
D - she is probably sucking her thumb and has given herself a hickey
E - if you can do all of these things nicely then she usually rewards you with a cute "I just woke up smile" that I finally captured in the second video.  I actually captured all of these things, so enjoy!

Oh, that is such a cute laugh she has!! I want to see the other video...I only see the laughing one on here. It's really cute, though. She's adorable. The more they interact, the more fun it is. January is a hard month...especially if you have to go so far away, I'm sure. Glad you're having fun out there. :)
