2 Weeks of catch up!

There are multiple huge events that have taken place over the last 2 weeks in the Gneiting residence.  We'll go in order:
Dev finished up his basketball tournament.  It was fun but I'm ready to get my Saturday's back.
Thanks Maretta for taking a few shots of us!

Finals are over!  Yeah.  Tiffany came during the worst of it but I was hanging onto my sanity there at the end.  Trying to un-spoil my child, get back on her schedule and deal with an elusive husband.  That was negative, wow!  Needless to say this week has been heaven!  And the rest of dental school is down hill (that is what everyone keeps telling us).

We worked into the wee-hours of the night trying to get some yard work done.  And I'm so proud of it, it's kind of like a child.  You become biased from all your sacrifice and time no matter what it looks like! Here are some before and afters.
We sealed and painted the floor (no more water in the garage!) and then put the fence up with a little painting and reupholstering on our porch furniture.  The fence was so rusted out that Dev basically kicked the old one down.  Safe, I know!

Raspberries!!!!!  From Idaho too!
Finally planted my herbs.  Oh wait, none of them sprouted!  I failed in my first attempt so I had to go to he store and buy the plants.  What did I do wrong?

Devin's mother, Julie came to visit this week.  We met her in Cincinnati at Devin's Aunt Nan's house.  We received quite the treatment.  Aunt Nan is definitely my idol!  She followed us back to Pittsburgh for a few days.

Brynlee:
Most importantly to us - our child has hit a few significant (to us) milestones.  She is pulling herself up which means the crib was dropped.  Man pretty scary the first time you walk into her hoisting herself out of there. She can say dad, tickle tickle, and whas sat?  She claps her hands, waves by and fake coughs when you ask her how she feels.  She is getting pretty good at walking with some help and dancing like you have never seen.  I kind of got a little bit of it on the video, but nothing compared to her usual when there is no camera in sight!
With all of these visitors lately I can add my testimony to others that the week after is HORRIBLE!  And I'm not looking forward to the next week!  But it has been so nice to have Julie and Tiffany come visit and help out.

I am glad that you guys survived and that you had family to come and visit. I am sure that really helped out quite abit.
Love the new patio look. You guys did a fabulous job. I hope that your raspberries from Idaho will grow and grow. Those are the best. Don't worry, I failed at planting an herb garden too. It takes practice. You'll get there. Your little one is getting so big. They grow up too fast. Isn't it so fun to see their little personalities come out. What a doll.

Diddo with Tia - I couldn't watch it. But, the pictures are great!! Looks like Brynlee really enjoyed the BBall. Way to go with the yard work!! I can't even imagine how valuable visitors are. I'm sure I will in a few short months. I wish I could come visit. Maybe we'll take the Pennsylvania route to Houston. :) You look great, as usual. Love ya!

I didn't get to hear much about Ohio, besides the amazing food but you've got some cool pictures.
