Thank you, Happy Haw-o-ween, Trick-r-teet!

So that was the order that Brynlee would communicate to the candy givers.  She would say thank you with a smile, recieve the candy, say Happy Haw-o-ween with an even bigger smile, then yell trick-r-teet as she ran away.

The dental school has a dental parade a few days before Halloween for all the little kids of the students.  It was the first trick or treating experience Brynlee had.  I had been preping her all day about what to say and that we only take one candy.  So the first few departments that we went to on the parade to trick or treat she was estatic about getting the candy.  Slowly she started taking handfuls (we were inches away telling her just one.)  Finally at the last few dept she decided that they were offering her their whole basket and took their baskets saying thank you and walking away.  I'm glad we figured out our manners by Halloween!

The third memory I want to remember is how much Brynlee LOVED pumpkins. We picked some out at a farm and she instantly became obseesed with hers.  So when we carved faces on them - life could not get better for her!  She LOVED carving her pumpkin.  We just got one pumpkin and did a simple quick face on it thinking Brynlee could draw it and cut it out but she ended up insisting on a little pumpkin to carve during the process.  I then got 15 minute updates on the pumpkins outside and how they were feeling that day.  Every pumpkin we saw in the car was pointed out and counted.  She showed everyone her pumpkin that came over or skyped with her!  I don't know how I'm going to throw it away without her knowing!

Anyways here are some pictures of our fun activities.  I was pretty proud of myself for participating in the constant activities.  I was all for going into early labor with this child but now that it's so close to my inducement date - I have really wanted to wait so that I get my doctor I've been going to this whole time.  He only works wed in the hospital!  So we had to take a few breaks and go slow trick or treating at the activities but it was so so fun!  And like everyone else says - pictures of little kids in costumes with candy is impossible.  Sorry for some bad pictures!
Ok I know that there are a lot of white trash things about this picture - don't look too close but we had so much fun this night with hot chocolate - our halloween books and carving pumpkins.  Probably my favorite FHE ever!
Large and in charge!  And here is our newest addition to our family - a better piano!  I love it!  So much better than the last!
 A very fun witch party!
And this is the best dental parade picture we could get of the kids all together.
I tried to make some fun costumes this year but Brynlee didn't care about her costume until I put a tu-tu on and then with the wand - she was all on board.  So she was a fairy skeleton??!!

Well I'm going to bed early tonight!  We have to be at the hospital at 5 am tomorrow morning.  We're dropping off Brynlee to sleep at someone's house tonight after a big big calorie meal of my choice!!!!  My goal today - sleep, drink and eat healthy!  I have been having the best scripture studying and prayers lately.  Big change like this is always humbling and I hope that everything goes smoothly but if not, that I'll be blessed with faith and be worthy of the spirit and it's infinite blessings.  Oh and I hope I can get my act together about naming this kid before we leave the hospital!  Brynlee has been acting up the last little bit - which makes me think she is starting to understand what is going to happen.  It's so nice to have a husband that can rearrange his schedule and be there for me and Brynlee the whole weekend.  One of the best things about labor is having my mom come too.  For some reason it just makes everything all better.  She is coming Friday and everyone in this household is very excited about it!

Loved your skeleton costumes, especially the baby skeleton on yours and the fries and burger on Devans! Very clever :), and good luck with everything. I'll be praying for you!
