Brynlee is "Free" now!

Callen is crawling on all four all over the house now. He is such a great baby. And I appreciate him temperment and habbits now that I know how fast each stage can feel. I wish I slowed down and appreciated Brynlee's more. Callen still hasn't popped a tooth out although all the signs are there. He is down to 2 or 3 naps and can eat puffs like a champ but struggles with rice cereal still. He just follows Brynlee from room to room trying to keep up. Brynlee can still make him smile more than I can. He has this hum or yelp that he'll do every once in a while to make sure you are still there. When you yelp back he smiles or puts his head in his hands in complete enjoyment. It's so cute. I love making him laugh. I live for it! I separated the duo and live is better in separate rooms. Brynlee is completely enjoying it here. She just love nursery and her friends and she talks about Ayven her friend next door everyday. I'm glad she isn't still asking about Pittsburgh cause it was sad to hear her express her loneliness for those friends. She understands she is in Texas now but I'm sure that going home to Idaho will mess everything up again! She is so excited to see everyone though on both sides of the family! It will be sad when Dad leaves though. Brynlee and Dev always have been attached. Anyways Brynlee turned 3. It was very very low key. I decided instead of making a cake and stressing about it I wanted the memories with her anyways. So I took her to the grocery store and we picked out exactly the cake she wanted and made it together. she chose princess cupcakes and we had a blast licking basically all the batter and then putting more sprinkles, frosting and toppers on the cupcake then there was cupcake. But at the grocery store I told her she can get what she wanted to eat that day. So she was running around getting her usual favorites - chips, go-gert, crackers, cheese and a 2 lb tub of butter. I veto-ed the butter. The point is she knew when her birthday was. So 7:30 am on the 4th of July I woke up to Brynlee in the kitchen chowing down on her cupcakes and once again was so mad I forgot a picture. You would think I'd learn to capture these moments! We had some fun visitors - the Staleys for Brynlee's birthday. It was so nice having them there cause the first 4th in a new place is always hard. We tried to ride bikes in the morning and it was too hot and no one was out downtown doing anything fun. So we scrapped it and did cupcakes at home. Then we went to a BBQ and some big fire-works. It was so fun and made up for the lame morning. Brynlee had a hard day - maybe do to the fact that she inhaled a years worth of sugar in the first 15 mins. I did catch her singing her Cinderella song. Everytime I get ready she grabs her chair and copies everything I do. From curling her eye lashes to singing while she combs her hair!
