Life only gets crazier!

This is going to be a long post because it has been a while.  We have been exploring as much as we can.  We drove the Las Cruces which is the nearest big city.  We found a hispanic flee market.  It was awesome.  It had every kind of fruit to lines and lines of yard sales.  And the minute you walked in there were about 6 taco trucks.  I took a picture of Devin while standing there for minutes deciding which way to go to his heaven!
We took a trip out to the white sand dunes for the air balloon festival.  It was pretty windy and it made it hard for all the balloons to fly but it was still pretty and a gorgeous day.
I have loved doing date nights with Devin.  A favorite is Nuckleweed.  It is a really nice restaurant in a single wide trailer.  You have to call ahead and tell the you are coming and request your dinner if it is something other than a steak or chicken!  The food is so good and it is a unique environment.
We also took a night to go to Ruidoso at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Hotel and Casino for Christina's 30th birthday party.  It was pretty fun to dress up in formal and to catch up with the girls at the office.  They had some one min obstacles.  I forgot what they are called but it was fun to watch.  I failed us in the balloon volleyball.
Devin's office entered a parade in Alamogordo.  It was pretty neat to walk down the street and hand out cards to people ... quickly meeting them and saying hi.  Everyone had their kids running up and down handing out the toothbrushes, floss, and paste bags.  We had quite the numbers all in white shirts running everywhere!  And I can know check being in a parade off my bucket list.
We brought home a rifle and handgun and have been shooting!  Although I don't enjoy shooting the big one, the hand gun is pretty fun and I'm not terrible at shooting.  It is pretty fun and gives me a lot of peace of mind at home, camping and riding.
So family life has changed a lot lately.  Brynlee started going to preschool full day twice a week.  She needed some social skills improvement, to learn how to obey someone else and to get used to full day school cause kindergarten is full day here.  I also think that Teddy needs a little more hands on discipline.  I've been lacking :) !  As you can see the first few days were rough on him.  He kept asking where everyone was.  Brynlee was so excited and everyone loves her teacher miss Krystal.  They had preschool pictures and I laughed at the mom's buying them until I saw how cute Brynlee's were and I swallowed my words and got some for grandparents.
I thought this Instagram was funny.  There for a few weeks this is what our Sunday afternoons looked like.  Everyone napped but me and I don't even know what I was doing and why I didn't nap.
Brynlee started gymnastics and it has been great.  She loves flipping on the bars the best.  She has become stronger ever week and the best thing she has got from it is the ability to follow 4 and 5 step instructions with hard coordination.  She is doing great.  Callen dies.  He wants to play on the stuff so much.

I had to take a picture of Callen's face.  He fell so hard camping and it was my fault!  I dodged a head on bonk and didn't think through the repercussions of his charge.  He was pretty bloody and  has a good scare above his eyebrow from it.
There is something called a macaroon in New Mexico.  They eat scorpions and look just like them without the tail and twice as big.  They are harmless to humans but sure are scary looking.  I've seen a few and that is fine cause I have yet to see a scorpion or snake here!
As you know we moved and usually my weakness are made manifested in packing.  I have a bad white binder fettish and the amount of kitchen stuff I have is absolutely ridiculous.  I tried to sell stuff and just ended up with a table runner and tupperware.  It was sad that I couldn't let go of anything.

Thank you Jessica for helping me with my pantry!!!  I am turning a little OCD in this move.  Everything has to have a place but the OCD part comes with the labeling I've started!
We do get to reap the rewards of the previous owner's garden efforts.  We have these bad boys and man are they hot.  I can barely stand 1/4th of one of these in a big bowl of salsa.  They are hot and we are giving them away like candy cause we have so much.  We also have tomatoes, herbs, all kinds of peppers and egg plant?  What do I do with egg plant?
With all the moving I've been pretty bad at shots and this guy got his shots a little late and a lot of them.  This was right before and he doesn't even know what is about to happen!  He is so cute and I finally got a picture of his  monkey with him.  He is as obsessed as Brynlee with her Gerdy.

In this new house I've also tried to catch up on everything I've been excusing myself from.  One of them is canning.  I got some great applesauce, pie filling and cier from it.  One down and like 10 more things to go!  I finally calmed down with painting and decorating cause we don't have to finish everything the first week!  I started teaching piano lessons and so far it is rocking my world.  I have 11 students and it is so hard for me to get everything done in 3 days instead of 5.  I've been keeping up on dinners and cleaning twice as much space but a lot of the extra things have to be dropped and I need to learn to prioritize better.  It is something I love.  There are few things that I find more joy in than teaching piano.  There are so many blogs and fun ideas on line these days that it makes teaching creatively very fun.  The money helps with bills too.
We have been camping a few times here and every time it gets easier.  The first few of the season are hard to get the kids to sleep through the night but it always gets better and the weather is just amazing here.  It's basically camping year round here.  I have been trying some fun recipes and so far I don't have a lot of success in camping food.  What am I saying, camping food is good no matter what but it never tastes as good as the pictures!  Brynlee LOVES playing with "her 2 friends that are sisters!"  They are in her preschool class and most of her preschool updates and things they have said while playing or what they pretended to do that day.  She is really going to miss them.

How could I miss some pictures of Bunko night!!!!  If you can't tell, I'm a bride that had a rough reception and went to jail.  Rindy had the coolest outfit!!!

And my car died while we were setting up and Rindy and Lisa were a lot more brave than I was jumping the car.  I don't know why I forget how to do it everytime!

I love conference and I am done so I can listen.  One more thing, Callen just had a ruptured ear with staff this week.  It was rough!  And we got TV finally for the first time in our marriage.  We are in heaven with DVR!
