So there is some history to this vacation. My dad's family went to Oceanside every other year for decades (maybe). My mother was introduced to her in laws at Oceanside and I grew up loving the sand and waves as our Shaw family reunion. Oceanside is where Devin asked my dad for my hand in marriage. So it was so fun to have our first Shaw family reunion in Oceanside, CA. The only down part was that Braiden wasn't there. He is serving a mission right now (sshhh-only 3 hours away) but we will go back again. We had a blast just playing in the waves or beach, playing night games, eating really good food and then going to Disneyland the last day!
