So I was scheduled for an induction a week early. Devin could then take off work and my mom could fly in to help. I picked mom up at the Austin Airport and we did a late Mother's Day and took her to a crepe place, walk around the green belt Zilker Park and to a food truck. The night before, the hospital called and said they were over booked. But that morning at 11 they called in and said there was an opening and they were ready for us. I was completely ready with all projects done and ready. The medicine they gave me and labor itself went so well. I took some pictures I want to remember from all the births. How fun it was to look at how big or little my contractions were on the monitor. Sometimes I swear it was off! Devin right by my side, excited and killing time on a magazine and treats I got him each birth. Me watching HGTV to kill time. A picture of him swaddled right next to me for the next 48 hours. Trying to sleep and feed him all day and night. Unlimited sweet cuddles with sweet nurses coming in to check on me. I loved that I could feel it was time to push this time and once again only pushed about 15 minutes and didn't get stitches. Great labor and sweet baby. He is a dream child, sleeping through the night at week 6.
Jaxon has been loved since the day he came home. He only received one punch from his brother but other than that has just had tons of kisses on his head.
My mom was an allstar and helped so much! She carried all the heavy stuff and helped me heal so quickly and that first week. She stayed 10 days thank goodness. Granny Walters died so Julie couldn't come.
Jaxon was my littlest child yet at 6 lbs and I took a picture of his hands to remember how small and sweet he was.
