We went to a UT game with Craig and Devaun. We have been looking for a second practice together and feel so lucky to have partners in crime that we love professionally and personally! Devin finally figured that the only way to sell me on the motorcycle is to take me on some rides. I have to say - it was really fun! We did a date night to Torchy's and wore tat sleeves and all!
Sadly we keep losing the boys' favorite stuffed animals. It started with throwing away Teddy's monkey when he did something really bad and i forgot to go get it in the trash when we was asleep to earn it back later. Then Bubba's monkey was lost and found multiple times. We all learned that you can learn to love another animal. I have been surprised how quickly and fiercely they love any stuffed animal. It's sweet and endearing.
School and activities keeps us busy. Teddy and Brynlee has their 2 weeks of Texas which included cowboy day. Teddy begs me every day to wear his boots which are against their school rules. It specifically says that cowboy boots are too dangerous to wear at school! But for 2 weeks of Texas week they are allowed to wear them and you better believe he did! He wears them every week to church too! Cute boy! Brynlee was pretty proud of her ribbons on her gymnastics skills meet.
Bubba begs to go into preschool with Teddy and had to take a picture with Teddy on crazy hair day! We also found some silly string and documented an epic fight upstairs!
I was called into YW and have loved it! Devin is teaching the 11 year olds in primary. I took Teddy with me for a Hawaiian Youth Conference. He had a blast and was a huge help! I have loved working with the girls and loving them. There is so much potential in our youth! It is also fun to have a night out without being a mom.
Bode is probably Teddy's best friend right now. He is in his class and they love hanging out. Mabry is probably Brynlee's favorite friend. Her mom took her to rollar skate and Brynlee was in heaven! Spring brings soccer as well. We figured a practice in once a week and a game on every Saturday. Brynlee isn't picking and smelling flowers this year which is encouraging. But we are working on speed and scoring.
