We took a road trip one Saturday to check out the east side of 35. We found a bunch of giant pecan trees and picked up a few nuts to crack at home. It was fun on the back porch for about 15 minutes then it took some cookies to finish cracking all the pecans. They tasted so good! We found a big cotton farm as well which the kids swore was snow till they touched it!
Bode is Teddy's really good friend from preschool and those two love digging in the dirt and finding every car and bug on the premise. Bubba got to transfer to a big boy car seat in mom's new car!
We also found some fishing spots that Devin took the kids to. Teddy out fished Devin and they came home and skinned it so I could cook and make it delicious! It was a little boney but still good!
Teddy has been so cute about reading. He is learning his letters in preschool and is dying to read at the same level of Brynlee. So we got out our learner books and he is reading the first few!
We love our neighbors Kortney and Sherri Richards. They are so sweet to the kids and we love having them over for dinner every once in a while. This night the weather was gorgeous and the sunset even better. Bubba is so happy and such a joy to have home just me and him!
