For the picture skimmers and readers.

For all those picture skimmers, here is what is what I have for you:

Curley Sue after bath time:
Who can guess what this amazing dish is?
I'll give you a clue it is one of my top 5 favorites, looks like brains and I grew up on it!
I love having a park on my street.
I was skimming through my picture trying to find the ones that look good of me and my family and then I'm was like why?  I loved conference and a few of the talks they gave about this subject.  I hate those blogs you read that make you feel stupid and love the blogs that are honest and every picture isn't photoshopped and perfect.  This picture demonstrates our love for biking in Pittsburgh!
Please enjoy the runney nose, but Happy Easter to everyone!  I don't know how my mom sewed easter dresses for us every year.  Maybe I will for Boo next year.  We had great weather and a relaxing weekend.

Now, for those readers.  Here are Nicole's re-learned lessons for the week.

Lesson 1: Your child won't meet every milestone on time.  And can't meet other's expectations so smile and try your best anyways.

Lesson 2: Teaching your children about Jesus and his life is so important.  And how can I do this if I don't study his life myself?  Thank you conference.

Lesson 3: Stop name-dropping like you are movie-star.

Lesson 4: Everyone has at least one major trial in their lives.  I'm not talking about rumors or temptations, I'm talking about life long, sometimes life threatening trials.  My dad always said if it doesn't go away in 48 hours THEN worry about it.  I've realized I've had to extend that period as I get older.  It's about a week now!  Well learning to be mentally calm has been one of mine.  And listening to my body and the physical signs it gives me are great indicators of how I'm doing.  You physical health and mental capacity are tightly interconnected.  So do what you need to to increase and support both.
Side note: stop forgetting that a mental remedy is spiritual support.

Lesson 5: It's hard to live so far away from family.

Lesson 6: When Rodney Yee says "soften your toungue," he means stop flipping out over a stupid pose and focus on relaxing while you work out.

Lesson 7: The sun makes me happy

Lesson 8: I stink at April Fools and love bike riding.  Why do I love bike riding?  Cause it is something Devin and I both enjoy doing outdoors away from our every-day lives.

Lesson 9: Devin knows me better than I think and give him credit.

Lesson 10: I am blessed and everything I'm given is through the mercy and grace of God.

Hope you all had a marvelous Easter Week.  Here is our video for the week:

I love that second to last picture of Brynlee - she just looks so genuinely happy! And I love hearing about all your lessons. You are a great learner to learn that many things in just one week!

That first lesson made me laugh...are you wanting Brylnee to crawl, Nicole?? Or talk...?? You are so funny. She's doing great!! :) I totally learned the same thing from conference!! Was it just me, or were there TONZ of talks on teaching your children?? It was awesome. Anyway, her dress was adorable. Why sew dresses when you can find cute ones for cheap!? It's hard to make one for cheap anymore... But, maybe someday when I have money that's something I'd love to do. And I stink at April Fools, too. Shannon was with us and she got me SO BAD with the SAME DUMB TRICK about 5 times. And it involved getting soaking wet every time. And I didn't even get her back because I couldn't think of anything. Talk about embarrassing! Love Brynlee's curly hair. So jealous of you and your garden. I'm trying really hard to keep a basil plant alive right now... If I succeed it will be the first plant I don't murder. And I can't believe you're eating SPAM!! The End.

I'm with Brittany about the Spam buns...reminded me of Gma Ray's house! :) I always love your "perspective lists," too. I admire you a lot, especially with the way you're handling your most recent "curve ball." Thanks for sharing...it really does make me think a bit deeper! Loves!
