The Best VT partner ever!

You know when you have finally reached that relationship level between a visiting teaching partner?  The one where you don't have to apologize anymore and you can show up to the apt. with no treats and no lesson and they have your back?  Well I have reached that level with the cutest, feistiest lady I have ever met!  Please meet my visiting teaching companion . . . Betty!
She is 4 foot 8 inches, hasn't been active in the church for 40 years and makes the best brownies I have ever had!  She has a hard time keeping it "G" during our visits but is absolutely hilarious!  I have had so much fun with this woman and I finally have a picture to go down in the books!  I Love her!

Well spring cleaning is finally done (minus windows which I refuse to do until the sun is out) and man I'm ready to get out of this house.  I failed getting my pans clean of old burn marks.  I tried dryer sheets, and soft scrub and dawn and all of the combinations in between.  Any ideas?

I also played the funniest Easter game!  You dye hard boiled eggs for every individual participating and set up a bracket.  Each person smashes their hard boiled egg (same tip every time) into someone else's and the egg that didn't crack advances in the bracket till you get to the champion!  Sadly, the Gneitings lost first round but there were some good match ups!  This egg seriously exploded!
Another fun game that I want to remember is for Christmas time.  You play white elephant with couples.  But you call the wives ahead of time and ask her to bring 1 normal white elephant gift for herself and then for her husband's gift, to bring something of their husbands that the husband just could NEVER live without.  Of course the husbands had no idea what they were in for!  I guess that it took a long time for the husbands to figure out that their wife wasn't really going to give their 200$ XBOX controllers out in a white elephant game!

We didn't really have a whole lot going on this week.  The worst 4 weeks of Dev's life is coming up!  They have a test every day for the next 4 weeks in his classes and labs!  Clinics here we come, we have never been so excited!  And yes, I say WE for obvious reasons!

Here is my video for the week.  We are successfully starting to crawl!  Finally!  I know, I know every parent says to me "you are going to regret this," but I'm not!  Every stage of her life makes her that much more fun!  I don't mind baby proofing and constantly watching her.  No offense, Boo but being a "bump on the log," isn't as much fun!  I'm loving this phase and have a very distinct sense of accomplishment every time I watch her crawl!  It's not like I'm doing anything, she is the one pushing her whole body weight around with only her arms!  PS I'm addicted to my Yoga video!  So cliche, I know!  But Rodney Yee is my best friend in the mornings.  I'm convinced the pendulum pose is physically impossible and only on the video as a joke but it makes me feel so good and I crave the video now.  I can only imagine how much more fun she is going to be walking and running around this summer!  Bring it on.  I actually took this video a few days ago and she has progressed a ton even in a few days.

So cute to see little Brynlee thinking about crawling. :) Good luck Devin! Try Klean King on those pans. It may not take off everything, but it will be better. I love that stuff.

I am a mom that thoroughly loves the crawling stage also. It seemed like Celah was finally much happier because she was able to acheive things and get to what she wanted. enjoy!

She is so cute. I love crawling! It is just so fun to watch them as they learn and succeed. Try SOS pads on your pans. Way to go with the spring cleaning!

Everyone always told me the same thing about Sophie crawling and cruising. But I absolutely love it! I've loved every baby stage, but this one is really a ton of fun. They get so much more interactive every week. Just wait until she starts signing and talking! It's the best!

oh and.. yay for 40 days in remission!! :)

Hey old friend! Anna gave me your blog address, so I'm glad to find you online! Just wanted to ask if you tried barkeepers friend on your pots and pans? nothing but barkeepers friend works out my old burn stains. It's only a couple bucks at the store.
