Is blogging a sabbath day activity?

I loved this picture!  Peter blew out his candles on the coolest semi truck I have ever seen.  This was a huge BBQ for 3 of the kids' birthdays.
The guys were missing for a while.  I found this: driving range competition and a soccer game.  Who brings golf clubs to a 2 year old birthday party?
Happy Birthday to Isaac, one of the cutest kids I have ever met!  I love this boy!
And then the party doesn't stop!  A children's festival in the shadow of this gorgeous building!
A few carousal rides.  I love toothless grins.  What I did for that grin was embarrassing in public!
And on to a baby petting zoo . . .
Which is even fun for the stroller babies!  The baby goats, cows and lamas were so cute
But for some reason the ducks and chicken were a hit!
Then it was definitely lunch time!
And just like the sabbath, what do you do after a lot of fun and food?
Brynlee missed free tennis lessons,
Rolling down giant hills,
Face painting, balloon making and fire eaters!
We found 2 very cool swings this week!

I honestly think blogging is a form of recording family history- making it a very appropriate sabbath day activity. What a crazy fun kids party! Good grief!

I am so glad we went to the Children's Festival...definitely worth the hassle of parking :) Hopefully we get to hang out again soon!

Looks like you are having so much fun there in Pittsburgh! (ps...everytime I type pittsburgh I think "the pitts") And I love the swing you found...especially the rug you have her laid on! Sometimes being a mom requires a little innovation!
