Major Differences

My life has completely changed from 5 year ago. How do you ask? Here were the major events/accomplishments last week to demonstrate:

I successfully went to the store and came home with everything I intended to buy with . . . . dan dana nan . . . . . 2 KIDS! I only had one small mis-hap when Brynlee almost ran into the road and got hit by a car (I temporarily lost her!) Besides those 30 seconds I lost Brynlee, I officially feel like I can handle 2 kids 11 months apart!

We had my final apt with Dr Srodes! And that big smile isn't for nothing. Not a single thing has changed from my last MRI 6 months ago! YEAH! I only have one more MRI in a year and a few apts in between but Dr. Srodes was very happy with my last results. And Brynlee got a yellow duck from the nurses - which . . . . she hated.

We went to a Pitt volleyball game! Oh that was so fun! Why has that changed from 5 year ago? Well the major event is that Dev and I are playing on an intramural team together AND we went and watched this game. Volleyball 5 years ago was what I lived and breathed and now I'm lucky to play/watch once a week. I look at this as a strength though - I guess! I know my life is more balanced now, but it sure was fun to play volleyball at least 5 hours every day!

And if you really don't believe that my life has changed that much in 5 years then look at what time I am posting this! Yeah I slightly might sleeping in and getting ready for hours at a time! Don't miss anything else though.

This month is going to be so busy! I watch Natalie Mon, Tue, Thurs. Monday night is cake class, I split my piano teaching night into two nights to take on more students - Tues & Wed nights, Tues is volleyball, Wed is my busiest night of lessons, Thurs Dev plays basketball. Plus, there are so many fun parties and gatherings this time of the season - I have some talented friends!

It is all really fun things and I feel so on top of it and happy right now. I was telling my brother that I feel like Brynlee is my side-kick now and not my child. She is so fun and easy right now! She has been sick this weekend, but today she seems fine.

P.S. Church has done a 180 in the last 6 months! It is so fun and supportive now! We had such a good testimony meeting and that used to be so rare! I just LOVE the missionaries!
