8 days till we leave to FLORIDA!!! So excited!

So here is the proof of our cake class!  It was so fun!  I highly recommend it to anyone who has a Michaels by them.  It is even more fun if you can find someone to take it with you and then you can split the cost of all the supplies.  We were pretty proud of our final cake!  I can honestly say that fondant and gum paste doesn't scare me in the least!
I should be doing a lot of other things besides blogging right now, like:
-getting my piano lessons and recital stuff ready
-visiting teaching
-writing to-do emails
-trying to figure out how to get a hold of my last christmas gift
-catching up in our book
-making christmas cookies before my neighbor comes over with her cookies:)

I have been horrible at taking pictures lately!  We have had a blast at some cute Christmas parties so far.  Esther, a friend from DC, did such a cute play group here.  And Brynlee made her first ornament for her mom.  Yeah right, I know.  We had a really fun dinner/gingerbread competition for the branch.  Santa came.  I stood in line but gave up realizing she would hate him.  Then as he walked through the tables to say bye, he passed Brynlee.  when she saw him, her blood in her face completely drained and started screaming.  The man didn't even touch her!  I was so humiliated! Although, who decided Santa should have a long white beard, in bright red clothes with nothing really showing on his face but his eyes.  It would creep me out too!

Then the Gneiting household got EXTREMELY sick!  Everyone was out for about 12 hours.  I'm so glad it was so fast but I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.  It was a little nice reminder for 12 hours of how the first 18 weeks of pregnancy is for me and let me tell you . . . I am not a fan or ready yet!

So I spoke in church today.  I was nervous but it went well.  The lesson that I learned from preparing is to STOP COMPLAINING!  If the Lord prompts someone for a talk or a calling, or multiple callings . . . then you are meant to do some good in the world.  The church operated on a volunteer basis and we can't volunteer and then complain!

Merry Christmas Jameson - I sure miss you!

Love that picture of Brynlee!! She's getting so big! Ya, Santa's kinda scary that first year... Jason did the same thing, on his lap. But, this year he's really excited about Santa and says his name all the time...hopefully he'll get to meet him sometime.

I'm very impressed by the cake! That's really fun...I might have to look into doing that at our Michaels. By the way, Janel says hello! She remembers you from BYUI :).
