This is the local fire station hauling Santa up and down the Munhall streets giving out candy canes to the kids. Of course Brynlee thought it was her worst nightmare come true. But I thought it was pretty cool of the borough!
Picture is side-ways. Sorry. But thanks Grandma Shaw! And thank you to everyone for the wonderful gifts, treats and cute holiday cards! We love them!
I had my first piano recital with my students. It went very well. It was fun to practice along with them and preform on a new piano in front of an audience. It is a whole different experience preforming in front of people who pay you to teach their children! But I did better than I should have! Thanks to Lisa and Dev for all the help! Here are a few of my students:
We went to the local parade with our cute neighbor MaryLou and ALL her kids/grandkids. She had a few grandchildren in the parade. It was so fun!
They were handing out free Rudolph books and so much candy that the kids stopped picking it up towards the end! Dev and I got another cultural shock when we saw their cheerleaders dance here. It is almost African dancing style. Definitely a difference between the private white schools that passed with their cheerleaders! Pretty cool - both styles.

Now off to the sunny state! Merry Christmas Everyone!

You are a rockstar!! Can you please move to Colorado and teach me (and my one child plus future children) how to play the piano?!?! Love your recital outfit, by the way! Hot mama.
