Every January, I am wishing to be in another month! It is the longest month of the year in my opinion. I have been horrible at taking pictures, so I have had no motivation to blog. But I hear that if you don't blog people start suspecting you are pregnant! So here is our Jan. happenings.
Last 2 weeks:
*Our church callings have been keeping us social and on our feet. Our branch reached it's all time high for membership yesterday - 102! Church basketball has been a blast!
*Doctor Appointments: My doctor results came back great - discussion of surgery is off the table. And Dev has been catching up on some doctor apt too. Brynlee had her 18 month check up and the pediatrician lectured me on what to say to other parents who insult how tall my child is. I guess she is 100 something percentile. She was freezing and looked down at her clothes. This was her attempt to dress herself - leg 1: pants, leg 2: shirt, waist: buttoned coat, foot 1: shoe. Then gave me the death look when I didn't help her put on her necklace. He has had some major forehead bonks recently!
*Devin had his 27th birthday! Apparently you still have to bake cakes for 27 year olds. We went to the Cheesecake factory, Boat show, and Pitt basketball game.
* Have had a few fun parties and girls nights with some friends. Amber is amazing at decorations! And there are so many fun ideas for parties on line now!
*The steelers are going for their 7th super bowl this week. We have jumped on the band-wagon and have been/will be rooting them on! Black and yellow, black and yellow! It is so fun to have so many good sport teams to root for in this city! I love Brynlee's crazy static hair - that is an every day occurrence!

How are you, my long lost friend? It's been forever.
It looks like the shower turned out really cute. I need to get more creative and look at ideas online. I feel like January is sometimes long because we've had so much to do in Dec and then Jan is nothing in comparison and with it being cold here, nobody gets out much.
