Sunglasses and hats aren't annoying, then are now accessories that should be wore at anytime of the day. And with any outfit on! Too bad I cut off the fact that she wore her slippers with this get-up too. The other day we were dressed and ready for church. Dev had put her sunday shoes on. Well she ran into her room yelling, "Ippers" and replaced her sunday shoes with her slippers, came out smiling and said, "bu-bye!"
She only gets Gerdy when she is awake now. And apparently she loves it even more now.
She is aware of the dogs, birds and cars outside now. And will do anything to take a glimpse when she hears one.
After this mess we quickly learned that we need to babyproof a little more.
I feel like we have been doing a lot of bike stuff lately and Brynlee couldn't be happier. She starts the journey down the stairs to the garage, the minute she hears the word bike. And by the way, does it take your kids like 10 minutes to get down each flight of stairs. I bet if I carried her down stairs, we would get at least an hour more in our day. I gave her that bike horn so I would know where she was in the store and when I finally noticed it wasn't moving anymore, I found her here. While we were riding bikes in the store, she apparently found the bike she wanted. I told her to smile and she leaned out of the car to the side to make sure I could see her face, then she asked to see the picture. Kids and technology!
When she found every single pink purse in target . . . it wasn't embarrassing. It was embarrassing when she put them all on and started telling me to do things in front of quite the audience. By the time she successfully put all of them on she had quite a lot of fans cheering her on - all unrelated to us!
Here is a video I taped a while ago of some of the cute words she has learned. Since then she has got all her animals and their sounds down and is starting on a few sentences. Nursery is a love hate relationship. The love side is obvious but the hate is that sometimes they learn a few things from other kids, that are very hard to stop! But church has been a whole lot easier and my back has down-graded to a smaller size, thank goodness!!Untitled from Nicole Gneiting on Vimeo.
