Our break wasn't a bust. First we planned to go on a 300 mile bike ride from Pittsburgh to DC. Then a week after we found out I was pregnant we realized there was no way I could do that. So we bailed on some friends and weakly made the goal with eachother to do it some other time. So last minute we packed up and went camping in Ohiopyle for a minature (20 miles that killed me!) bike ride on the Allegheny Passage. It was beatiful. Then project after project from Mr Fix-it all around the house checked off his very long list of house projects and we were bored. One of the things I love the most about Devin is his ability to come up with some of the most random fun memories! He told me to get ready for a road trip. We went to the Pennsylvania memorial for 9/11. It was pretty neat to see the HUGE construction projects they are under-taking for a memorial out in the middle of nowhere. It was pretty popular being days after Osama died.
Inside the "museum" was this book of thoughts from almost every person who has visited the site. It was sweet. Then off we went to Gravity Hill. Gravity Hill plays with your eyes. You pull up to the bottom, put your car in nutral and you start rolling uphill! One of us thought it was cool, one of us was expecting a rollar coaster that we were going to coast up! It was a fun outing!
My cute piano student got married and I was lucky enough to go support Yes, the colors were black and yellow. Yes, she has a big Steelers tatoo on her arm. Yes, they walked out of the ceremony to the Steeler's song! I don't think anyone noticed this common theme but me. Because why not do all these things in a wedding?! She looked absolutely gorgeous and was so so happy. It is impossible to not be happy for her. I think I was the only female under 40 without tatoos up my arm and didn't have multiple glasses of beer infront of me. The food was amazing! And the church was so historical and beautiful. I wish Stacey the absolute best!! She is such a devoted and great student!
Mother's Day can be summed as the famous line, "as you wish!" I got my hammock under our big tree, I didn't do dishes all day, we went for a hike at Schenley and I went to bed early. Perfect day!
So I have had good days and bad days but lately I've had normal days. Which is so great! I feel just like I did before I was pregnant! I think this is almost done!!! YEAH!
This weekend we are headed to Cincinnati! Oh how I love going to visit Aunt Nan!!! I can't wait!
Oh and we had the best best phone call with my brother Jameson. He is on a LDS mission in Paraguay! Oh I just can't explain how good it was to hear him joke like he used to and see him interact with his companion. We were lucky enough that his strict President allowed skype this time. He is one brown boy and he is suppose to because they can't admit they are American after Osama was killed. Sure miss him and I almost feel bad at how much will change when he come home. He couldn't believe how Tiffany was pregnant and that Braiden was brushing the top of the doors with his height! Anyways, I hope he gets my packages of chocolate soon!

Wow Nicole! I can't believe you did 20 miles on the bike while you're pregnant! I was exhausted after 8! We definitely need to ask you about your favorite camping spots out here. We would love to go this summer! :)
When are you guys coming to Athens?! It is gorgeous out here! Much smaller town than Pittsburgh, but still fun!

I love reading all your posts and seeing and reading about all the neat places you guys get to visit. Looks like a very beautiful place back there.
One day we will take a trip out east.
I am glad you are feeling better. That is great part, feeling like yourself again. The first trimester is a tough one. Best of luck to you guys.
