The summer is going by way too fast!

So I'm multi tasking with this post!  Multiple aspects to tell in each photo.  First off, I'm showing Brynlee's mean dance moves.  Next we are introducing her new "miniwear," which is her mini mouse underwear.  We are house trained without incentives but that is about it!  Also, she knows her colors.  She just doesn't know what each color looks like. . . but she can come up with the right answer eventually!  Finally when she started figuring out her friends had names (she mentions Parker in this video) she also figured out mom had a name.  She calls me "icole" most of the time and it shouldn't bother me this bad ... BUT IT DOES!  Really, I'll take a lot of names - mom, mommy, sweetey, shnookums, best parent I could ask for ... but Nicole is not an option.

This is what we looked like last week!  Outside, in just underwear and usually calling someone to tell them what a big girl Brynlee is!  And when I say we, I mean Brynlee was the only one naked!  Promise.  She is getting better at talking on the phone and carrying semi-normal conversations.
Oh camping, how I love you!  And it is always more entertaining when there is a beach.  She liked the "coat," (life jacket) but next time I think we won't make her look so "my parents are psycholy obsessed with safety"-ish- and just let her wear floaties!
And we have made some good memories on our bikes. Sometimes with friends... sometimes with family.  But no two bike rides are alike!  This time - we biked about 15 miles and made it to the end of the trail!  Shouldn't the sign say end of trail.  But it's good to now know that climbing the pad-locked fence then scaling the mountain of dirt after (with your bike) is not an entrance to anything!

Finally.  I was leaning on our fence looking down to the garden (I need to weed already dangit) and I realized my belly officially covers the bar.  Wow, that happened fast!  I'm starting to get the, Oh you are really showing now comment.  But I'm also taking a picture of the garden because it is kind of a big deal in our lives right now.  Watering, weeding (ok honestly I've only done that once this year!), watching with tender love and care (what I mostly do:) !), picking and cooking it!  It takes a lot of time and feels so rewarding.  We have been eating raspberries on our breakfast for the past 2 weeks.  Lessons learned so far this year: when the package says mixed variety of lettuce - sometimes they will throw in a broccoli plant or two.  Also, a bunny will spend days trying to get through your fence and rarely thinks of a way getting out.  How do you chase a wild bunny out of a tightly spaced garden?  That was rhetorical cause it's impossible, I know. If it starts eating my raspberries or strawberries ... so help me.

celah totally calls me lacey all the time. brians girls call me lacey- so she gets confused sometimes. I do notice that the more attention i bring to it, the more she does it because she likes my reaction. So i try to ignore it and then she starts calling me mommy again.

Jason's been calling us Brent and Brittany lately, too. It's usually after church for some reason... Love the belly shot. :) I wish I could see your video! It's not working...

Umm. I'm super impressed about the potty training happening there! :) Good for you! I have to admit...that's my LEAST favorite part of motherhood...potty training. Probably why it's so hard for me to buckle down and "get it done" with my now 3 year old. Next Monday I'll start. ;) NEXT Monday. (Been saying that for almost a year now!) - Are you for hire?! :)
