Conference and Easter

I feel like I'm queen of creating traditions that don't work!  But I guess eventually, if you keep trying different ones than eventually you'll figure out what you like!  And holidays are so fun when they start understanding what is going on.  The other day Brynlee said "Mom, the St. Bunny Neaster is coming."  And I think we have had so many fun holidays right after one another that she is getting them all mixed up.  I'm happy for a break just in time for us to move across the country.
We had a fun conference weekend.  We usually go on a bike ride conference weekend in between sessions.  This time we went from the Waterfront to Station Square and ate lunch and played in the water fountain.  Sweet Teddy loves riding and Brynlee is a good helper but looks forward to playing after we reach our destination!

 Callen slept the whole time so we could spend a lot of time with Brynlee!

 Then we had the horrible idea to go on a 30 mile bike ride!  Dev is going on a 300 mile bike ride from Pitt to DC this weekend and he is starting to train.  I thought since I was the only one of the 4 that wasn't pulling a trailor - that I could keep up.  Yeah right - I barely made it!  But I'm so so happy that Teddy held his head up the whole time (4-5) hour ride and loved it!  We ate lunch at a park half way.  It felt good and actually i loved it and would do it again.

 This was the best picture we got.  Actually we only got one before our sweet neighbor Mary-Lou brought over a surprise for the kids.  She is so sweet and we are really going to miss her!

 Here are the goobers.  I was stressing Brynlee to "NOT LET GO!" and smile at the same time!

 We had Easter dinner with cousins - Thomas and Janelle. And the egg-bashing tournament was a hit.
