Living and loving life!

Devin scheduled a 6 month smile course in Las Vegas.  I had my hopes up to go but it wasn't possible with kids.  Then Joseph and Lisa offered to watch the kids.  Can I say that couple is going to the celestial kingdom.  Dramatic I know but I appreciate them more than they will ever know.  The favor will be returned.  Anyways flying was a breeze and took much less time than we planned.  The conversation was so much better and the activities were spontaneous.  We "yelped" the best mexican restaurant and ate at Gordon Ramsay's Pub and Grill.  I thought both were good.

How could we go to Las Vegas without a few goofy pictures in front of this sign!  The man taking pictures infront of this sign is making a killing by the way but at least you can see what the sign says.  I also did some damage at the outlets ... in my mind!  PS they had a kitchen outlet store!  But I did get some clothes for the kids.

Now this picture needs to go down in the journals!  So enrichment was a service auction and it was a blast!  Then we found out one of the girls passed a really hard test so what is the only sensible thing to do?  Celebrate and carpool at Chilis.  That is when I found out someone owns this beautiful Camero.  And it gets better.  Another cute someone owns a newer corvette.  I was in heaven.  The Mrs. Corvette told the Mrs. Camero that their cars needed to talk.  So they went out to the bypass to see who can talk louder.  Long story short we got pulled over into a gas station.  And more and more lights kept coming!  We had a state trooper, sheriff and 6 cops at one point.  Mrs. Corvette drove straight to the gas pump and started pumping gas.  The cop asked Mrs. Camero if they knew each other, they both said different answers.  But by the end of the conversations the cops were candy in their hands and everyone was laughing.  No ticket!
We got a little sunkissed at white sands.  I think it is going to be my favorite go-to activity.
Brynlee decided to dress up in disguise for our annual pinching!  And she is much better at door bell ditching than last year!
I wish that I was more disciplined at these devotionals but I have had so many special moments with Brynlee teaching her about parts of my testimony that mean so much to me.  It has really brought us closer together.  And oddly enough so has some piano games I've been trying to create into a fun environment.  She is so ready for preschool and learning.  I hope that this enthusiasm for what I love will continue when she starts preschool.
We did try to catch a leprechaun this year. And the little "tricky man" keeps getting away.  Holidays are getting more and more fun.  Devin is loving his job is an understatement.  And every time you move there is just more great people to get to know and more places to explore.  What do I want to remember about right now?  That I'm in love with my family and church.  Life isn't a breeze or always perfect, but everyday you can try harder to be grateful.  "Gratitude makes what you have good enough."
