Discovering our new town

I always love exploring a new town.  This is a real HUGE bull on the side of the road.  I was literally 3 feet from this HUGE real life bull that this extremely happy man was waving to everyone on the main street here.

 And Dev and I was invited to the coolest restaurant!  It was very very expensive food but it was so so good.  There was many courses and every bite was incredible.  And the best part was it was in a double wide trailer   We had to call ahead for our part and we just about took every seat they had in the trailor and all the food in the kitchen.  It was so fun!

 And Brynlee attempted to take a picture of us for the date.

We decided to take a road trip to Ruidoso a few mins away.  We are living in incredible weather and then 45 mins away we have a ski hill/resort-ish town.  It was fun to explore.

 Brynlee didn't want to leave the snow.  She was having a blast.

 And I didn't want to leave the shopping!  Shopping is so much fun even without buying!  I found a great TX store, a perfect kitchen store and a really cute purse store.

 There are incredible views in Ruidoso.

 And Teddy found a train store that made his day!

Brynlee is riding with her new helmet and some of her cute friends!  She sure had a fun time!

 And we felt lucky to get invited to this Dr Suess party!  Great food and games and crafts!

 I really like Google hangouts.  It makes being goofy ... easy!

 And here is the kids in all their glory.  It was a pizza and park night!

 We discovered the Three Rivers Petroglyphs.  There are over 12000 characters over 400 years old.  It was a short hike that both the kids loved.

 We are trying to make goofy faces and I have got to stop trying it.

 We have spent many afternoons at the apt park!  The weather has been nice to us and I think the pool will open up this week.  Glad we moved here in the winter and not the summer!

Callen is getting a lot of hair finally.  He is learning a new word every day.  He yells YA all around the house and Nin-nee for Brynlee's name.  He understands the majority of what I'm saying and is starting to tease and play with us.  Brynlee is such a great great helper.  I feel like time is moving so fast now.  I'm excited for the future and happy that Devin is happy here!
