The Everyday

So this is my favorite picture of this post!  We were waiting in a long line of cars to get to the trinity site.  The trinity site is where they tested the first atomic bomb.  They only open it twice a year to the public, probably from radiation contamination.  We went anyway and the 2 hour drive was worth it.

The bomb turned the sand (hundreds of yards away) into a green glass.

Brynlee has loved her "doc" toys she got from conference.  She will make sure you are are fit!
I'm getting an obsession with these orix animals.  They were imported from Africa to this area and the meat is better than elk I hear.  Plus the horns are around 4 feet long.  Oh I hope Dev gets a tag and orix!
This is Callen's favorite toy whenever he can get his hands on one.
Nothing is better than a blow up trampoline!  Great birthday party!!!
These two are so fun!!!!  I took the picture because Callen usually has a car in his hands and this time you can see both of his favorite cars.  I lost his monkey today.  I sure hope I find it cause he cried for 2 hours on and off till he fell asleep.  It is so sad.
I've been working on some changes around here.  First I threw away the bottles!!!  Yeah.  They had melted/burn spots all over both.  We started with 8 for Brynlee and ended with 2 for Callen.
We have a great conference tradition we liked.  We did a surprise for each family member tied to the speaker. Made it interesting and fun.  We didn't want to miss a speaker.
I love our date nights.  We have found a cute, perfect babysitter.  This was after a mexican restaurant.  We went to Joseph and Lisa's new house and did dry ice bombs!  Why have I never done that before!!!  It was loud - and fun!
I just really hurt my back.  I've been in bed for a week.  It was extremely humbling.  It reminded me of memories - how fragile life can be and it helped me remember that my body is a priority.  You need to treat it well.  Anyways I have missed the everyday normal events I didn't appreciate.  It is good to be feeling better.  I missed cooking and cleaning.  Never thought I'd say that!!! :)
