Happy Birthday to me!

So I got a birthday weekend.  We drove for most of my birthday.  We went to Elephant Butte.  Which is basically the only lake in the state!  It was really fun.  Then we took a detour to the Gila Cliff Dwellings when our camp hosts were talking about it.  It was worth the drive.  We loved it.  We got to stop at the continental divide and see all the haunted towns on the way the the dwellings.  We almost ran out of gas at a gas station but thanks to "Bob" who let us fill up from his tank 5 minutes after closing.  The kids were good for the amount of driving we did.  I love camping with my family!!!  It is never perfect but so fun to watch the kids get so dirty and have so much fun with the dirt/mud/sticks/animals.  We forgot our air mattress but the playground and view was amazing.  We went to Walmart and got those blow up long intertubes for 3 dollars and used them as mattresses.  I also love camping food.  We did pink cookies marshmallow sandwiches this time and loved it! 

I wish you could see in these pictures how intricate and gorgeous the buildings were in those caves.

 Teddy was obsessed with watching Dev's phone on the way home.  He was hilarious when you would take it away.  He loved the horsy in tangled.

 Took a train ride at the park.  I thought Callen would have liked it more!  It is about 3 feet tall and rides around the park.
