We have been looking forward to this trip for months. The Hays sure know how to show us a good time! They live in such a fun town that we could have stayed there and been busy for a week. The drive wasn't too bad. We went out to Texas Roadhouse for Jamie's birthday. We hiked the incline one morning which was a lot harder than I imagined! It was one mile and 2000 feet in elevation. We went to Garden of the Gods and hiked around. Then we went to another state park and hiked around. We also went to a bike park and Brynlee learned to ride a bike without training wheels in an hour. It was so cool to watcher her learn to balance and figure it out then turn and smile so big at us when she could do it. Dev was really patient with her. The kids all played so well together and it is always fun to go to another ward and meet new people. I hope we go back soon!
