Brynlee turned 5!

This was the first birthday when we had an official party with presents and friends.  I sat Brynlee down and asked her what she wanted.  She said a tea party with dolls and treats.  So we had to get creative and go a year above and below in church but we had a really fun time.  Each girl circled what they wanted on their menu and we basically just served them courses the whole time.  There was a table for their dolls but they just laughed and talked for about an hour eating.  The girls came really dressed up and cute.  I really appreciated Devin helping me and Teddy and Dad being the court jester some of the time to our princesses!

 What is a birthday party without a horrible cake mis hap!  I under estimated how much cake I would need for the skirt.  Nailed it!  Brynlee is the sweetest girl.  She takes quite the beating from her Brother and I'm never worried about a retaliation.  She is very obedient.  She is extremely verbal which is so easy for me as a mom.  I feel like if I explain why she is usually on board.  She still has her curly hair and she still loves princesses but I think that phase is on the exit.  She has good fashion sense for herself and for me!  She has  slowed down on her hilarious comments but sometimes she still says some really funny things.  Like the other day on Father's Day she asked me when kids' day is!  She hasn't really connected with other girls but I'll take that as long as I can have her home!  She is very smart and on top of education.  I'm not worried about her in kindergarten and she is so ready that I'm ready too.  It will be so sad and kind of hard to not have my helper at home the whole day, but I'm excited for her to make some friends.  I love Brynlee and everything she has brought to our family in the last five years.  She is the angel first child and will be a good example for the rest of the family.  She has always been so mature for her age and concerned about choosing the right.  We love you Brynlee!  More than words!
