Oh this is going to take forever to explain how awesome this place is. No one had to do a single dish or cook or plan a meal or even have a cooler. There was BYU students and ran all day child classes so that Devin and I could go do whatever we wanted and boy did we take advantage of that. We went on a ropes course together the first day. I use to enjoy those things and it took everything I had to finish that with a smile! Dev beat everyone's time scaling the rock wall and bear crawling basically the log up to the top. Then we did some paint balling together. Devin was just like I thought he would be. He put me in the safest place - I didn't' get hit and he had a back of welts to prove his bravery of getting the flag every round. But I hit someone ok!!!! So fun! We also did shuffle board against Julie and Jim and guess what - I stink at that sport! We did a lot of night family activities like Aspen follies that was really fun. Then we separated and Devin won every basketball tournament they had. We played in a volleyball league and softball league. So fun too. Oh NBD but I met Sister Oaks and painted pottery with her. I'm on a picture on her IPAD!! Definitely a high light. We made cut, sanded and polished some wood pens together. I made some pottery with Brynlee after dinner. There was a talent show, guest speakers on personality types that was a hit and min to win it games (which Brynlee and I went up in front of everyone and won!) There was fishing that the kids enjoyed. Everything you could imagine! One of my favorites was going on a hike to waterfalls with Devin. My second favorite memory was when Grandpa and Granny Walters got up in front of everyone and he talked to the grandkids about what is important to him and what he has learned in his life. He has lost his sight and his sweet bride was diagnosed with Dementia and doesn't remember anyone. He just held her hand and is so unbelievably sweet to her through all of this. He couldn't leave her side to come to the reunion so they hired a nurse to bring her with him. Third favorite memory was catching up with everyone at night when all the kids were asleep in the main lodge room. Oh I miss it there a ton!!!! So fun and I hope to go back soon! I got a Teddy picture of three generations. The food was amazing!!!
