If there are a lot of driving pictures in my posts it is because I drove a TON! It was 45 hours round trip and 32 of that I did by myself. Devin joined me for the last long stretch. The kids were great. No one was potty training and both were so entertained with toys and movies the whole time. I am surprise seeing a back window in my car though. There wasn't an extra inch on our way home!!! So I drove to flagstaff first and stayed at a cheap hotel. Oh, my battery died and I had to get a new one. Minor and made me feel independent and able when it was fixed and we were on the road again. It was such a gorgeous town - I forgot how green and mountainy it is. Then the next day we drove to St George and had to stop at Jacob's lake for some ice cream per Jamie's suggestion. It was as good as she said!!! When we got to St George we were met by Julie, Olivia, Alisha and kids! It was so fun to be in such a fun hotel next to cousins and family. We went to the St George temple grounds (beautiful) and then to the tabernacle and the splash park right outside the tabernacle. What a cool town! Then we went to Little Mermaid at the neatest out door theater. Brynlee loved it and it was definitely worth the drive out of our way. They were on segways and had a lot of water falls all over the set with a firework show at the end. Then we jumped in the car and headed to Grandma the Great's house. Even down to the smell of her house brings a smile to my face. I love her so much and soak up every moment I get to talk with her. She is so sweet! She took the kids to the dollar store and they are still playing with their toys they picked out. Teddy picked out swimming goggles and refused to take them off. It was funny. It was sad leaving her, but I hope to see her soon enough.
Will write later
