New Years and Winter

So this pregnancy has been the hardest one yet.  I was sickest the longest and my body just isn't as young and agile.  I'm trying to keep life the same for everyone but I didn't do a good job at that.  We have been hibernating a lot lately.  We did venture out to Tyler to visit the Staleys.  It was so fun and Brittany is the best host.  It was so nice to not have to cook and clean.  We had little fireworks and karaoke with the kids.  It was so fun and went so fast.

Little mister Teddy was potty trained like a champ.  I'm so proud of him and how well he did.  Brynlee took months and this kid was a champ in a few weeks.  Date nights with dad were his motivation.  There was one incident where he was holding number 2 in fear.  Well he finally figured it out and thought he needed a lot of toilet paper.  So he wipes 50 times and put the whole roll in on top.  It was horrible to clean!!!!  But he is always so sweet about it appologizing and asking me to come see his poop!
Brynlee got superstar the first month she was here and we were so so proud of her.  She is a sweetheart and these little acknowledgements really make her feel so good.  So Teddy and I came to her school and ate lunch with her and listened to her be introduced to the school and eat on stage with us.

Teddy is starting to say the funniest things.  He was getting frustrated and tired on the way home from the school park and said to me,"It's not listening to me mom!"
Teddy LOVES his pajamas.  He always tries to sneak them on.  And when we do get his clothes on it is so cute.  This shirt is backwards, inside out and upside down.  I don't know how I missed it till the garage on our way to errands!  He smiled so cute at me and asked me to help him feel better.
We made cheese bread and Brynlee came to me and said, "Mom my life just gets better and better!"
We have been falling in love with Austin.  It has been fun finding the great places to eat and bike trails.

Brynlee was helping me cook dinner and said, "Mom I just want to say a little prayer right now."  She is the sweetest girl.
We have started to venture out and have some fun play dates.  Brynlee and Teddy have some fun friends and it is fun to start feeling better and watch them develop their social skills and laugh and play with friends.

This dude.  Teddy is so funny.  I was weeding and I look up and he is in his underwear throwing rocks at passing cars.  Nice dude!  I was laughing so hard.
Devin had his birthday and he is pretty low key about it usually.  I woke up and tried to make him a breakfast but once again set the microwave on fire.  We spent a few days weeding the front yard for him and then Devin and I loved going out to eat on a date night.

I accompanied Devin during his sedation course in Houston - kidless.  It was really fun to go to the temple before I have this baby, eat and Jason Deli all by myslef!  Then the course got out early and we went to a freezing beach and visited Tanner and Estee.  It was so fun to see them and then to go Benni Hannas for dinner.  What a fun weekend!

I just love that Teddy is 3 and he still falls asleep in the rocking chair on my lap.  I just soaked it up and let everything else go in those moments.
