December part 2

Devin and I had so much fun during the annual work Christmas party.  The girls were spoiled.  They were given money and asked to go spend it on only themselves in one hour and to use all the money or Devin will get the change :) !  They came back, showed everyone, ate great food and exchanged white elephant gifts.  It was funny to see what everyone purchased and white elephant gift everyone ended up with.

Sweet Teddy had his second first day of preschool.  He loved his sweet teacher at Grace Lutheran in Killeen.  She was so loving and quiet and I loved what he was learning in his all girl class!  Then he came to First Baptist with a very fun teacher and a class of very boyish boys!  Quite the opposite but he has loved it and fit right in.  He is always such a good obedient boy in school.  And he hardly goes anywhere without trying to sneak his cowboy boots on.    We took this picture on our way to the Christmas program.  It was ligit!  They had a live nativity, lots of good musical numbers and great food.
This year was the first year the kids woke us up for Christmas.  They were SO excited!  Santa had eaten the treats we left for him and the reindeer.  And they just couldn't open the presents fast enough!  I remember Devin passing otu gifts and looking down at Jaxon.  He was sitting up all by himself for the first time just watching everyone, playing with Christmas paper and smiling.  He is always so content.  Teddy was just thrilled about his swords he got.  One of our favorite presents we got was bean-boozeled.  I got every bad bean and Devin never got a bad one.  The kids faces were so cute/funny.

We invited our friends down from Killeen for our traditional Night in Bethlehem.  Everyone brought yummy jewish food, dressed up, were taxed and played out the nativity.  The kids were good.  Jaxon didn't say a peep all night and I remember my kids were in heaven with their friends again.

Jaxon is such a big boy now.  Time is going so much faster with each kid.  He sat up on the grocery cart all by himself.  Teddy was SO protective and nice to him.  Jaxon claws him and takes his steering wheel and he will just hug Jaxon.  Brynlee has really missed Raegan.  So we had her come over for Brynlee's first sleep over.  The girls had so much fun together and I had forgotten what a sweetheart she is.  They made cupcakes, swam, jumped on the tramp and colored together.  They exchanged christmas gifts and Raegan lost a tooth at our house!

Sadly this was the only picture I got of our Christmas Eve - trying to get Jaxon to fall asleep in the carseat.  We were invited over to the Alowitz's house for a beautiful dinner and devotional.  It is always hard the first year of holidays when you move.  So it was nice of them to invited us and to have something to do!
