New Years HUGE Party!

Growing up I always looked forward to going to Utah for the Shaw family white elephant reunion.  It was the once a year gathering for the family and there were some fun cousins I loved hanging out with.  I wanted that for my kids because they don't live near cousins. So we invited all the Rays in Texas to our house for a swim/New Years Eve sleepover.  It happened to be during Braiden's BYU basketball game so it we dressed up in our gear for the night and had it on.

 We had a white elephant gift exchage then played the candy tape ball game.

 We of course had to finish off our fireworks  and do sprinklers and a harry potter war with some roman candles.

 The pool ended up being just the right temperature for the kids.  We went to bed (even kids) after midnight and woke up to a breakfast before everyone left.  Hopefully we can make this a tradition!
