Teddy's teacher is awesome. She is perfect for Boys. I love that she posts pictures during the day about what they are doing. They had a Cat in the Hat week and two weeks of Texas! Their winter week consisted of a classroom snowball fight.
Brynlee has been getting better at gymnastics. Teddy is funny when she practices, he usually tries to do just what she is doing and helps her do her conditioning. He goes to all her practices with me and plays with his cars. I love our time waiting and watching and catching up on his day. He has started drawing pictures of humans and it is so cute. It's my favorite stage when the arms come out of the face. Brynlee is writing the sweetest love notes to me. It makes my day. She likes to hide her love notes (you are the best mom ever) under Devin and I's pillow.
Devin found basketball in Georgetown. He plays friday mornings at the Rec Center and on a city league. His team struggles but one game the score was unbelievable - they won. Brynlee has been loosing teeth. They are wiggly for weeks till she gets the confident to pull a little. Devin tried to tie one to a dart gun but after a few attempts she let him just pull it out!
Claire & Loren Spencer and the Gordons came to visit for a CE conference. I had so much fun driving down and showing them around. I just love to talk with them and catch up. Great moms. They made me miss Alamogordo even with everything that has changed lately.
I had to document Brynlee's first selfie!
We have been slowly making friends here. We have been having Sunday dinner with a few families and here they presented us with a great puppet show after dinner!
Another year at the Mardi Gra Party that one of the specialists in Killeen hosts. It was really fun to see the office in a "relaxed" state! I love Dead Fish Grill and it is always fun to have a date night.
Brynlee had her first mini meet. She was so cute and tried SO HARD!
The kids made box forts and insisted they would sleep in it. An hour later they quieted down and we found them in their beds the next morning but they sure had fun cutting out and coloring their forts!
We had our first recital here in Georgetown at a nursing home. The kids did great and I'm pretty sure no one heard us but they sure had fun. Brynlee insisted her 4 braids she did was perfect for the recital. Teddy and I took Jaxon to Brynlee's school for a lunch. It was fun to see her in her element. It was VERY loud at her gym class and lunch.
Devin and I made a trip down to SA temple and switched with Amy and Michael for a session. It is a beautiful temple and the kids had a blast playing together.
Another friend we have been playing with is Jake and Alyssa Thompson. They decided to move back to Boise but we have been getting as many play dates in as we can. We went to their place downtown and it was right on the river. Adri and Teddy had fun throwing rocks in.
