End of school year but start of summer

When we got home from out trip I felt like we barely got our feet under us before summer.  I was excited for our summer routine to start.  I was also excited for Teddy class to end.  At the end of the year the boys in his class started getting more and more physical.  He started coming home and telling me that they were hitting him.  Then he started coming home and telling me that he was hitting them cause they wouldn't stop and then his teacher started talking to me at the end of the day about how physical he was.  He never hit anyone but would tease the girls and bump the boys or cut in line.  In the summer we set some goals the help Brynlee talk nice to Teddy and Teddy to not by physical.  It helped a ton and by the end of summer they were both ready for a new start.
Brynlee had an end of the year concert and art exhibit.  She dressed up pretty fancy and loved singing and showing us her art work.  She looked so beautiful and acted so mature the whole night.  STOP GROWING UP!  Both of the kids had their big field days.

Teddy had his end of the year luncheon and Mother's Day/Father's Day event.  He was so so proud of his work and so excited to show me his classroom.  I don't go in very much with Jaxon and so it was so sweet to see his excitement.  He preformed a song and dance for the parents.  Then we had a Cinco De Mayo party at the Winegars with a pinata!

To start our end of the year celebrations we had ice cream and shakes at Shakes on Williams to celebrate Brynlee's last day of gymnastics for the year.  The kids slept out in the living room the night of the last day of school watching movies.  I got a picture of one of the many pajamas that Jaxon has with holes in the feet.  He is growing like a week and pretty rough on his clothes.  The next day we had a root beer float pool party with all of the kids' friends.  Teddy had a cute girl from his class show up although he was hoping for Sadie Green to come!  I gave Brynlee a bunch of invitations and she passed it out to boys and girls come and had a blast.

Devin tried his hand in construction!  He cut a whole in our wall and insulated a little play house for the kids!

I was asked to plan our ward's big camp out cook off party.  It was really fun! We invited our Harker Heights friends (McKinleys, Wentz) over for one more big pool party before they moved to San Antonio.  The military ward change so much and 6 months after moving out we don't know hardly anyone any more.  Sad.

Jaxon like the other two kids have really taken to their stuffed animal.  Jaxon's is a stuffed monkey.  We lost it and church but someone was nice enough to find it and call me and give it back.  He was thrilled after a few nights of restless sleep!
Teddy's teacher was name Dorian Bratton and she was so sweet.  She loved Teddy so much.  She was always up for a party and quick to give a hug.  Teddy was really good friends with Sadie Green.
Brynlee's teacher was Mrs. Graff.  She was very quiet and pensive.  She wasn't a hugging type but she loved Brynlee and always commented on what a big help Brynlee was.  Brynlee was really good friends with Brandy in her class.
