Fall is coming and stopping time.

The pictures speak for themselves! I've been helping out in the office in marketing.  It has been a learning curve making signs, fixing the website, and doing our Proud to Wear Pink campaign.  The whole family got to go to Brynlee's school for lunch.  We went to Round Rock's Sidewalk Chalk festival during general conference. We went to Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls with the Bowcuts.  We went hiking (3 miles) at Colorado Bend State Park and were totally impressed with the kids and how well they hiked the long trail!  We went to Mt. Playmore and top candy shop in Austin and the Thinkery for Columbus day when the kids didn't have school.  We also have had our first trantula and snake on our property.  Not fun.  I had to kill the snake but Devin did the trantula.

But I have to document a few things about the kids:
Teddy is so cute.  He has his mischievous moments but he really tries hard to do the right thing.  He likes to make people laugh and is very competitive.  His voice is still so sweet with high fluctuation and attempts to pronounce tough words so cute.  He always says, "did you know...." or "just so you know..." facts to me all day long.  But 95% of what comes out of his mouth is a question.  It is hard to answer all of them!  He needs explanations of where we are going and why or what our plan is.  He is always yelling, "hey brynlee!" because that is his best friend.  They play all day long.  Usually she is nicely "bossing" him around playing house but he loves it and plays right along.  No matter how many different hair cuts I have given Teddy his hair is always sticking up in the back.  He wakes up in the morning with the funniest hair dos!  He thinks like an 18 yr old.  He can figure things out and asks questions and creates theories of things that is way too mature for him.  He really is a teenager in a little boys body.  He is very physical.  As a child he would throw more and more tantrums the more physical I got in punishments.  I spanked him and it would do nothing but I could tell in his temperament the next few days that is was a bad idea.  But on the other end his LOVES hugs.  The minute his feels were hurt by someone he would ask me for a hug and that was all he needed to stop crying and feel better.  There is nothing that he hates more than being interrupted when he is trying to say something important.  I love love his blonde spot on top of his head.  He has sandy brown hair in the winter but in the summer it turns really blonde with an even blonder spot on his head about 3 inches wide.  The second thing he hates more than anything is being thrown in the pool.  He has always been skinny and average height.  Usually in the 25-50% at the doctors office.  But this year he is really growing.  It means a lot to him to have friends and is constantly trying to keep up with Brynlee in everything she does.  He has such a special place in my heart and I just melt when he starts crying.  Here are some of his funny phrases lately:
"Mom, I love dad, mom, Jaxon, Brynlee and pop and the pool." Definitely in that order too!
"Shee shells"
"I haven't watched TV in like 30 or 40 years.  That's longer than Adam and Eve!"
"inga turtle"
Toddy at Moab, "This place looks like China!"
We drove 10 hours from home "What ward are we are in?"
"Mom I just really want to eat you because you smell like peaches and bacon!"
"Mom I fell down some stairs and I almost broke my heart out I was so scared!"
Teddy was really mad at me,"Mom I'm so frustrated because you always chose my life!"
Teddy turned around, dropped his pants and pointed to a bee bite on his bum saying," I'm just too tasty!"
We were climbing in elevation on his first plane ride: "mom we are above the clouds going to Jesus.  Where is God?"
"Mom I"m gunna beat you cause I"m as fast as a hippopotamus!"
"Dear Heavenly Father I tried hard to not kick brynlee today and I only did it once.  Amen."
"Hangabur"
"Come" - your welcome
"Bless you me" excuse me after a sneeze
"thlee" 3
An ambulance pulled into an old folks home and Teddy said "well that's not good."
We dropped off Brynlee for her first day of school "Mom, I'm really worried about her."
"Mom BYU stands for cougars.  I want to go to that high school when I"m big."
Taking the sacrament "Mom, guess what, this bread taste like icky eyeballs."
I asked Brynlee what she is going to fast for and Teddy yelled, "Mom I'm as fast as a superhero!"
Teddy didn't like dinner "It's stinky, it's choking me!"
"Mom guess what, today dad and I saw a pink SOB!" = SUV
"Mom, do you know what makes you so happy? Today I ate all my snack and I didn't even like it!"
I asked what did you say Teddy? "I'm buffing, I'm just talking to my head"
"My brain hurts mom.  Dad is a good thinker."
Exiting Wellsfargo, "Mom, is that your piggy gank?"
At Dad's Dental office, "Someday I"m going to have a telescope just like you!"

Brynlee!  Genuinely cares what everyone thinks and is always trying to impress or serve people.  She chooses the right every time and very knowledgable in the gospel.  She loves the piano although there are a few fits here and there.  She talks my ear off about everything and is very very tender.  The minute I say one thing not positive she cries.  She doesn't' handle pain very well and piercing her ears has caused so many fits I can't count.
"Mom I think I worked so hard at gymnastics that instead of my food coming out of my private, it will come out of my face!"
I asked Brynlee to stop growing up "Mom, I Facebook you on my phone when I stop!"

Jaxon!  1/6/16: he ate a whole bottle of food for the first time.  He is rolling all over the floor.  I love it when he planks on his back on the floor, lifting his head up and trying to get me to hold him.  He has the biggest smile when I open the door to get him out of bed.  He is impatient and the minute the bottle touches his fingers he forces the bottle to his face sometimes hard!
4/12/16: Jaxon always has his hand on his forehead when he eats.  Drinking bottles isn't calm anymore.  He has to be aware of what is going on around him even if it is in the other room.  Today was the first teasing interaction.  I stuck my tongue out at him and made a spitting noise and he did it back to me.  I stopped nursing at 5 months.
9/20/16: Even during the summer bleaching from the sun he still has a little red in his hair.  He has the biggest eyes I've ever seen.  He love loves people teasing him and playing with him.  He has us all in the palm of his hands.  He is usually the center of our conversation.  He does the milk sign language so cute with his little stubby hands.  He actually does the milk sign for everything he wants.  But that has transitioned in to the eating sign language for everything his wants.  He learned please but rarely uses it!!!  This week he started folding his arms and then yelling something after a prayer.  His favorite game that can instantly change his crying to a laugh is jumping over him or his walking through your legs.  His walking is still so wobbly but he HAS to walk around and see where everyone is.  He is obsessed with him monkey for bed time.  He will give it a huge hug whenever he holds it.  He loves to hug me and will cuddle to sleep still after about 5 minutes of crying at church.  He never stops eating.  The bigger he opens his mouth/raises his eyebrows the more food he wants.  You can usually tell when he starts to get full.  When I put him down I always so I love you and he always giggles.  He loves to wrestle dad but the minute anyone joins in he is offended.  He (like the other kids) cries when Dad wrestles or hugs me too hard!
