Chicago to go watch Braiden play basketball

Braiden was in high school recruiting when we were in Pittsburgh and I never got to see him play basketball.  Then he was on his mission for the last few years so we decided to make it to a game!  It was SO FUN!  We had Carrie Kuhn babysit the kids (she was wonderful with them!) . We checked into our hotel and then went to Eatily.  We basically ate the whole weekend.  We went to Giodanos and Pequads, Eatily, and 2 amazing breakfast places.  We went on a gang/crime bus tour with a guide and visited all the assassination sites and learned about all the crime lord of Chicago.  We were pretty proud of ourselves for being able to navigate the city using the Metro, bus, cab and uber.  It was FREEZING!  At one point it was 1 degree outside.  We walked around downtown and saw the Trump tower, the bean and went to the blue man group.  We missed our kids the whole time but it was nice to quickly go places and be able to see a lot.  Braiden got us the best tickets and we watched the game on the floor.  He played quite a bit and then we got to go out to breakfast with him before we both flew out.  What a fun trip!
