Teddy was a little nervous to start another year. He usually gets quiet when he is nervous. But the minute he met Mrs. Cave he has been so calm and sweet and excited at school. There is a good bunch of boys this year in his class that are respectful. Last year he was starting to have problems with some of the boys in his class that were physical with him. I tried room mom this year for Teddy's class. I didn't know that it would be so time consuming. But it is fun to be a little more involved with the kid's classes. A big time commitment was making the fundraising basket for their big Christmas fundraiser. It turned out really well. Teddy's good friend is Bode in the class although he likes to play with John Henry too. Mrs. Cave is always happy, positive and energetic. She is the perfect preschool teacher. Teddy was so excited for his first field trip to the fire station. But I think the part that he was most excited for was riding the bus to get there. He then came home and was very definitive about our emergency preparedness plan! I love our car rides together to his school, talking about what he did that day in PE or science and how he played with.
