I'm feeling pretty safe here in TX and I'm trying not to say bad words about the new blogger layout because I can't seem to figure out how to change emails and grant permissions. So for now we are going to be a public blog. You know me, I change these things all the time if I get scared!!! I might be a little less particular about future events but the momma bear in me feels so much relaxed than I was in Pittsburgh.
We found a deal for a large pizza, 2 drinks and 40 tokens at Chuky Cheese! Devin and I don't remember ever going before. It was really fun and of course the kids had a blast!
So glad I didn't buy a double stroller! This little trooper might even fit 3 kids and a bag?!We found a deal for a large pizza, 2 drinks and 40 tokens at Chuky Cheese! Devin and I don't remember ever going before. It was really fun and of course the kids had a blast!
Brynlee could stare at "Gerdy's mom and dad" all day long! We got a hold of some free zoo passes and have loved going. I dare say it is almost as amazing as Pittsburgh's zoo!
Friday night lights! I was speechless the whole night. We went on a date to Midway's highschool football game. They had a fog machine for their blow up mascots for the team to run through. They had over 80 cowgirl dancers lined up for them to run by. The press boxes speak for themselves. And the stadium was packed. It was so cool! Kind of pricey. Every city has it's own culture is what we have learned visiting around the country. In the south they have these giant ribbons they make and wear for spirit and dances. You put your date's name on it and both wear one but some little girls just wore them for spirit. I sat people watching the whole game while Dev made friends with a 80 yr old man that had lived in Hewitt his whole live, attending these games for years and years.
Our second camping trip was a hit. We camped under a Pecan tree, went fishing and ate some great food with the Johnsons. We had a blast even though the trip was very last minute and camping on Waco Lake. What's wrong with camping and on a lake 10 minutes from your home?!!! I finally feel like I can pack in an hour or two and not forget anything for our family. The weather has been amazing! It is in the low 80's right now but I think it is suppose to start getting a little colder. We love taking walks and bike rides.
Brynlee and Callen are starting to entertain each other and it is so fun to hear them laughing together. Callen has hi dad down great but for some reason only says mom when he is crying or needs something! I think I've heard an all done - not sure. He still isn't close to walking although we got 4 teeth in this week! Wahoo! Makes me feel horrible when I see blood in his mouth. Brynlee didn't do that and wan't grumpy like he is.
