The Honns Love Us!

Just so we are clear this entry is solely from me and definitely not from Dev.  I think it makes him mad that my voice is the only one heard but I've invited his writing abilities to the blog - so no hard feelings!  Tiffany called and made me so happy when she said they wanted to come visit.  Little did I know I needed her so bad that week.  I needed her help, her support and her hands.  I was so excited to show her my life.  But my kids were even more excited for them to come.  Brynlee and Teddy help their hands not mine, they showed them their toys - not me and they sat on their laps, not mine.  I couldn't be more happy about it though.  They took to them really fast.

 So we started off dropping Brynlee off at preschool.  Then we came home to a casserole swap with my friends.  I wanted her to meet everyone.  There are some awesome girls here that I just love and Devin likes casseroles so it was a double bonus for me.  Parties don't stress me out - if anything it makes my week.  Let alone if I get do it with my sister!  I remember when I moved here a year ago I was floored with the lack of fashion everywhere.  And when Tiffany came to visit I realized how little I care or have paid attention to fashion.  When the only store you have is Walmart, a few things slip in your life.  I haven't spent a lot of money on clothes or projects or the house.  It is sad but I've saved money and put that time and energy into other things that I'm proud of.  Every place I have lived has changed me a little.  It molds you into someone else and helps me be less and less judgemental of others I think.

After the recipe swap I picked up Brynlee's friends at preschool and had fun car load of four year olds.  Brynlee tries so hard to make people her friends.  She gives them compliments and laughs a little too much when they try to be funny.  I LOVE watching her interact with her friends.  Her one request was to have aunt Tiffany see her friends.  So we had a valentines party with her friends and played uno, had a mustache photo shoot with some valentines food.

We went to white sands with brown bag deli and everyone got buried.  It was fun to have Tyler and Devin join us from their work.

Brynlee is really into Uno and she wins every time.  We went to the park, we had a good Sunday dinner.  The reason it was so good to have Tiffany is cause I was getting a really big calling that Sunday and I was so so stressed.  I was so stressed that the next week when they sustained me I think I got full body hives.  My eyes were swollen shut and one night I had a fat lip.  I was itching so so bad during the night.  Anyways she really helped me type everything, get organized and pick out my outfit.

My favorite night was when we had a date night to our favorite mexican restaurant.  It was fun to sit and chat with them.  We love it when the Honns come to visit.  We were sad that Ella and Caden couldn't come visit too but we will get them next time!
