We decided to go up to Bailey Canyon on Sunday to go shed hunting. Mom forgot half of our lunch but it was still fun. The kids took to the Shaws so well. It was fun to just be able to leave them and watch them play games that I grew up with. Brynlee learned how to play tick tack toe and sing a lot of the songs I used to grow up with.
We also took them to Red Sands and had a fun time. We took the guns and drove them around our favorite trails. We really wore everyone out I think and Grandpa Shaw got a little sick but was such a champ. We also took them to white sands. You can't come to Alamogordo and not go to all these places! We had a jumping competition and had good talks about how everyone is doing. It was so fun to have them go to church to see everyone we have mentioned. It is sure nice to have someone else during sacrament. The Shaws visit was shorter but it was both my parent's birthdays so we had a fun little party Sunday dinner. My mom was turning 50 and we took everyone to the office for some free dental care and whitening. Everytime my family comes it is so grounding. I love remembering and having good conversations.
